UKRAINIAN RELIEF EFFORTS
All Christians who have been on mission teams to Ukraine know that the people of that nation who are now being brutally attacked by the Russians are freedom-loving people, yet they have been forced to take up arms to protect their families. They are incredibly courageous in the face of impossible odds. They are determined to repeat the old saying once popular in America, “Give me freedom or give me death.” They do not turn, and they do not run. These people should be defended and Putin’s assault on Ukraine should be repelled. Let us understand that if Ukraine is allowed to be overrun, it is only the beginning of what this dictator wants. Soon Europe and the world will be caught up in this terrible conflict. It is that serious. Every person who loved freedom and has a heart for downtrodden people must rise up in the defense of this David facing Goliath. All of us must do what we can to stand with Ukraine with loyalty of heart and love in action. It’s the greatest world crisis since World War II – unprovoked and totally an act of cruel aggression on the part of Putin. How could there be a more vivid example of evil contrasted with good as we see Ukraine today? Americans must stand with them now!
